Ceramic Art Pieces Does Anyone Know Any Ceramic Artist Who Are Still Living, And Their Technics To Make A Piece Of Art?

Does anyone know any ceramic artist who are still living, and their Technics to make a piece of art? - ceramic art pieces

I have a ceramic artist who found the task of art class. I must be in a position, what measures they take to make a song list. I really want to, if I could find an artist to talk with them about their art.

A type of pottery, both interesting and easy enough for you in the preparation of a report from the raku pottery, originally from Japan. Plaque is usually not, but the pottery in the smoke and heat dipped in a special oven ... The smoke from the wood and materials are evaporated and the causes of different patterns and colors to permanently ceramic paint.

I live in California and local artists will be CA (or at least here), but you should be able to close to Google and a few artists:

Another type of pottery which would make an interesting report, the Indigenous Peoples (Santa Clara), ceramic ... Ceramic clay is still rolled (by hand, never in the potter's wheel! back) and then smooth the top. Unbelievable times. I could not find a decent public website, but here is a private good:

Finally, there is an internationally renowned CeramCISTI Japan, who lives in the U.S. named Jun Kaneko, one of those who live in the world today. He probably did not communicate directly with him, but there are many galleries that continue his work and I love to help, and a large amount of literature in their work:
